Taegan
is 5 years old and is a big sister to her 3-year-old
brother. Taegan likes to swim, play at the park and
draw pictures.
When
we told her that her grandma has breast cancer again, she
said she wanted to "draw a picture for her to make her feel
better." Then she asked about drawing pictures for
other grandmas with "chest cancer." So she started to draw pictures but
didn't know who to give them to.
We
told Taegan about
Race for the Cure and that maybe
she could give them her pictures. But Taegan had
bigger ideas. She decided that she would try to help raise
money for the cure by doing "Draw for the Cure." So, with the help of her dad, that is how DrawForTheCure.com
was created.
Taegan made a goal to raise $5,000 for the
Breast Cancer Foundation.
When we told her, that is a lot of pictures, she simply said "I
like to draw." Who's going to tell a kid it can't be
done. Please help Taegan reach her goal by donating
$10.00 and she will draw and send you a picture for your
donation. If you feel you can donate a little more,
that will go a long way in helping her reach her goal.
Thank you in advance.

Note:
If you would just like to donate without receiving a
picture, Taegan has arranged that those pictures will go to
the many Breast Cancer patients receiving Chemotherapy
treatment here in Salem Oregon and surrounding areas.
